In Rohrsheim, at the foot of the Harz Mountains, the Demmel family runs their listed farmstead, where they practice organic farming and market their own products. One of these products: spirits. The family literally puts their name on the brand. The namesakes for the various gins, grain spirits, whiskies, and vodkas are, besides farm founder Carl, his three children Tommy, Theo, and Luca.
